    Cleavage and fracture
    When a mineral's color is changed by weathering, it's streak also changes. Is that true or false

    A fracture is what you could get if you look too deep in the cleavage...

    Alternatively such a look may end in an uncolored mineral getting attached to a gold ring, that in time may weather...
