    Troble starting my civic
I own a 97civic DX 5 speed with 116000 miles I have trouble starting my car some times a lot of the times I have to give it gas so it can start, some times when I turn it on and rev it up it seems like the fuel gets stuck or its running on three cylinder but after a couple of seconds it sounds fine and it run normal I checked the fuel pump and changed my spark plugs but still the same.

Make sure all your spark plug cables are connected properly. Try to "push" them in some more on both ends.

You might also get a new rotor and distributor cap, if it's been a while since you did it.

I'd say this is more of a spark problem, than a gas problem.
