    Dryer not drying
My frigidaire dryer is heating but not drying in the appropriate time. It takes forever for the clothes to dry. Could this be the heating element?

Yes it could be the heating element. There is a possibility that the element has burned into and it is touching the cabanit and completing a 120 volt circuit instead of a 240 volt circuit therefore taking much longer to heat and dry the clothes. One other thing to check is the lint filter.
