    CPVC cement on PVC
    Can I use CPVC cement on PCV pipe?

    No. But there is a Universal cement.

    All Purpose Cement :: Oatey.com

    You still have to use the proper primer.

    The AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) prevails on what can and cannot be used.
