Are zone valves or zone thermostats possible with a steam boiler?
I have an old 4 story building with one thermostat controlling the steam heat to all floors. There is a commercial space on the ground floor and they are complaining that they don't get enough heat sometimes (and on occasion get too much!) They have suggested that there is some way to place a thermostat or valve on the radiators in each space in the building to control the heat in that space. Is this possible? They are the only inhabitants of the building who are having issues with the heat. This space also has a lot of glass windows in the front. Any suggestions would be helpful.

If your steam radiators have one pipe system you can take of the original air steam bleeders and replace it with a steam radiator thermostat valve. This controls weather the steam comes into the radiator buy controlling how much steam in temp somes into the radiator.
Just remove the steam bledder vavle that ssshhh part and replace with adjustable tem valve and these can be adjusted for a good temp range
