    1 year old Kenmore Washer won't spin or drain
    My one year old Kenmore washing machine won't agitate, spin, or drain the water. Could it be the lid switch or something else?

    Is it still under any sort of warranty? That's a lot of stuff to be not working on such a new machine.

    1 year old is to new to guess, but older models will agitate with the lid up. Hotwire the lid switch to test it. Check my previous post on how to get to lid switch, it's connected to the body. Or better yet, just put a jumper wire in when you disconnect the wire coupling. Unplug it first.
