    I/O error
In attempting to open some older files, the access is denied with a note stating that there is an I/O error. We have been on a Mac for over 12 years and those older files are all Clarisworks. How is it that we can open those files?

What version Clarisworks were they created with, what are you trying to open them with, and what version of the Mac OS are you running now?

An I/O error used to mean the computer had trouble reading the media after a number of tries.
