One of my teachers told us that you would have to drink litres of saliva to catch HIV in saliva... I really don't know if this is true...

I am pretty sure that a small amount of saliva would do you no harm

Bacteria and viruses that cause diseases must enter your body in a specific way to make you sick... (one may cause a problem if breathed in, but no problem if rubbed on skin)

HIV can only infect you by blood contact or by sex. Swallowing saliva would have no effect (however I would be causious if I have gum bleeding or bleeding in stomach)

How Do You Get HIV or AIDS?

No saliva does not transmit it.

"deep kissing" if one person has sores in mouth, may cause it.
