    Bad girls in detention home.
This movie was most likely in th 80s. Don't remember too much. I know it was all girls. Some ganged up on others. There was a lot of punk rockerish clothing. I think at the end, someone sets the premesis on fire and a girl is walking away... then the credits come.

By girls do you mean teens or adult women? "Lust for Freedom" is about inmates fighting in a women's prison.

    Hi!

It sounds a little bit like "Chained Heat," from 1983, which
Starred Linda Blair (from "The Exorcist"). Here's a link so you
Can see if it's that one or not:

I believe they were teen girls. I don't think it was a prison. I don't remember there being any jail bars.

For some reason the main person in charge was a woman.

Thanks couchcarrot. I watched the trailer on YouTube. Close but that's not it.
    That looks interesting, though.

These girls were not in an inmate uniform. They wore their regular street clothes. A lot of chains and punk hair and leather.

It might have been a school for all girls. But they didn't wear school clothes.
