    Help me find a kids book, unknown title
    There was a book I read years ago and I believe the story was even made into a movie in the 80s. A handful of orphan kids run away from the orphanage together. They move into an old house somewhere and start living as a family, trying to hide the fact that there are no parents. The oldest kid, a teenage boy, ghost writes an advice column, pretending to be an older woman.

    I'd enjoy reading the book again, but I can't remember the title!

    Could it be "Dear Lola, or How to Start Your Own Family"? I think the movie they made based on this book was "The Beniker Gang".

    Could this be it?

    I read a children's book years ago and can't remember the title. It was about a boy and each chapter was a different short story. In one chapter he is going to the movies and finds the movie star broken down and in another chapter he goes to see the worldsbiggest ball of yarn
