    Touch boards and sound boxes for preschoolers
    What materials would you use to make a touchboard for preschoolers to experience rough, smooth, prickly, sticky, hard, soft. Also what materials would you use to make sound boxes

    What do you mean by sound box?

    As for the various materials for the first part, the obvious that stick out to me would be

    Rough - sandpaper
    Smooth - plexiglass (to resemble glass but be safer)
    Prickly - velcro
    Sticky - duct tape
    Hard - a metal plate
    Soft - cotton
