Peadybob: I need a hydraulic oil filter for my Duerr log splitter. What is the brand & number of yours? I've tried a NAPA #1259 and it mushrooms when the splitter is started.Thanks. elandem

Oil filters are matched to the engine, not the brand of the log splitter. What engine and model do you have? A Napa filter 1259 is not an oil filter, it's a tramsmission filter number.

I realize this thread isn't new but I am posting this because
I had a similar issue with mine, maybe it helps someone...

The best solution is, I hope you still have the old one :p

Take the old filter to NAPA and let them cross you one.
