I would like to start writing about my journey through life, it has been very interesting and I would like to share this in writing about myself. I need some advice as to just where I begin... I was born in East Gippsland Victoria Australia. And I have had an eventful life... Believe me... Great ups and downers...

I suggest that you subscribe to the Writer's Magazine.
It contains a list of markets both book and magazine markets under different theme headings where you will find the appropriate place to submit your manuscript.

Another avenue you might try is writing and publishging via the internet. There are various companies which will advertise and print a book. Or else they will distribute it electronically. One advantage is the low cost involved.

Another great way to start is with Stephen King's book "Stephen King on Writing" Yes the same author of horor story fame wrote and excellent book to get the novice writer up and typing. You also should visit:
