Actually I think probably everyone in Canada has heard of Red Green! It's been pretty popular, at least in the past. It's on every afternoon in re-runs on CBC. Personally though I've never cared for it, haha.

Great post... this is a fun thing to do!

    In no particular order...

    1. The Carol Burnett Show
    2. The Red Skelton Show
    3. Malcolm in the Middle
    4. Fawlty Towers
    5. Keeping Up Appearances
    6. Newhart
    7. Will and Grace
    8. The **** Van Dyke Show
    9. The Mary Tyler Moore Show
    10. Laugh-in
    11. Northern Exposure

Does anyone remember the final scene of the series finale of Newhart? After the final commercial break, the scene opens on Bob Newhart and Suzanne Pleshette in bed, on the set of the earlier Bob Newhart Show. Newhart is sitting up on bed looking confused. Suzanne Pleshette asks with wifely concern, "What is it, Bob?" Newhart replies, "I dreamed we moved to Vermont and bought a bed and breakfast". Roll credits. It's classic Bob Newhart: Unexpected, razor sharp, and wry.

    7. This hour has 22 minutes

I have many favorites. Chava brought up some good ones from when I was little. Some of my favorites back then were Get Smart, The Smothers Bothers and Smith & Smith...

    My top 11 are:
    1. The Simpsons
    2. The Cosby Show (Huxtables)
    3. Rosanne
    4. Friends
    5. Home Improvement
    6. Night Court (Chava, that brought back memories)
    7. The Golden Girls
    8. Mad About You (has to be number 1)
    9. Reba
    10. Seinfeld
    11. Sex and the City (I think this counts)

I can think of so many. Anyway thanks for the stroll back. I have many Dramas that I can think of too. I always loved the holiday specials, they were my favorites.
