We specialize in exporting solid wood furniture.
Our product is special because it is made from reclaimed ship wood. I do think the furniture is rarity and testful. However, I am not sure whether there is any potential buyers. It seems like the general furniture retailer shows nothing interesting in our product.

My salary depends on how many order I can receive.I have been in our company for 4monthes and cannot find even one buyer. I feel so dispointed and upset...

Thanks for the further explanation as to what you do, brelee!

Do you know if you are allowed to advertise on your own, for the sake of your job, outside of any advertising that the company already does?

    Thanks!

NO, there is no adv budget for me. What I can do is searching the retailer of target market with search engine and then send the email to them. I sent more than one hundred emails about our company profile with our product pictures on it ,but get little reply...

I don't know what's the problem.Maybe the information I found has not significant pertinency. I cannot give up and I have to keep search for...

    Thanks for your prompt reply

    Hi, brelee!

I'm not talking about doing any advertising that will even cost you or your company a penny! What I was wondering was, if you are allowed to advertise on your own, for the sake of your job, outside of any advertising that the company already does?

That's all that I was asking. Wasn't talking about if you had a budget for advertising or not.

I have a number of small businesses that I run. Most of my business comes from the free advertising that I have placed on the Internet. If I was promoting or selling products of any kind, then I'm sure that I would also be getting excellent results.

If you are allowed to advertise on your own, and would like to know how to most effectively advertise on the Internet so that your products will get the most exposure, please let me know.

    Thanks!

The quote in the next post after this, is from answers that I've placed on other threads of this site. Some of the sites listed operate on an international level. All of the sites listed have the potential to get excellent exposure. There are also many free as well as pay advertising sites out there that don't get very good exposure.

It's important to word ads so that they get the most exposure when people do searches for what you might want to sell or the services that you provide. If you would like help in how to word your ads, please let me know.

Quoted from other answers that I've already given.

You do need to advertise. One of things that I do for a living is that I am a house painter. I really don't get many calls from my Yellow Page ads. But, most of my new business is from ads that I place on the Internet. The following is from an answer that I have already placed elsewhere on this site.

There are many places where you can have a free website or blog where you could advertise your business or anything else for that matter. Some of them can be found by clicking on the following searches.

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=Free+Website

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Free+Blog

Although I am in the Yellow Pages of the local phone book, most of my new business comes from the free ads that I have placed on the Internet in some way. It does take some time to set things up. But, once you have done it, you are set. You just need to keep track of when you might need to renew your ads. Some of them will let you know when it's time to renew, and most of them won't On some free advertising sites, your ads might not need to be renewed for years. For others, it ranges from maybe 14 days to 90 days.

I copy and paste what I have advertised into a message in my Drafts folder in the email program that is my primary one, and that would be Outlook Express. I also have a file in my email program that is titled "Passwords." It includes all passwords used as well as user names. Not all sites are going to let you use the same password, and the user name that you select might not be available on a particular site.

A really important thing to remember when doing online advertising is that it's not necessarily your name or the name of your business that people are going to be looking for, but what you do and where you are located. So, how you word your ad and the additional keywords that you use in it are very important. Google doesn't look for repeated words in site. However, some other search engines do.

There are a host of free advertising sites available. Most of the best ones that get the best exposure are on the following list. I have been doing online advertising for over three years now. It has paid off...

One time, someone found me looking for goats in Iowa. They are an animal rescue. They saw my ad on a site where one of my piano tuning ads was located and decided that they wanted to have their piano tuned.

I love it when people find me by accident! It could happen for you too with your business!

I do also frequently drive around and post my small advertising "shingle" with the pull-off tabs anyplace where I can find a free, public bulletin board where I can post them. These can be places like grocery stores, restaurants, bars, Laundromats, bowling alleys, public libraries, etc.

Here is the list of free advertising websites that seem to get the best exposure when people are doing searches for what they want on the Internet. Some of them are even international as far as where the ads reach, in case there is someone who might read what I have posted who wants to advertise on an international level. There are sites that don't get good exposure and, I don't use them. A person would have to be a member of and frequent those particular sites in order to know what is listed on them. I even post on sites that are located in other countries because the exposure is so good!

Sure! Did you have an idea as to what you might ask next? I did mention the following in an earlier post.
If you would like help in how to word your ads, please let me know.
Also, what is en... en.. please? I have not seen that kind of expression before.

I need to go now, brelee. I'm not at home on my own computer, but will be home and also back on here after a few hours if you would like to share any more information or ask any other questions.

Depending on what you might want to do, if there are any additional questions, then depending on what the questions are, it might be best to start a new thread in another topic area.

But, if you do have any additional questions right now, I would first suggest letting me know what they are before you post them elsewhere.

    Okay?

    Thanks!

I think the biggest problem I have to face is how I can translate the Chinese adv into English one and make it attractive.

    En... en...
It expess hesitating. Do you know "friends". They usually use this word.

I have taken much of your time.
If I meet any problem when advertising, I will post it here, you can answer it anytime.

    Hi, brelee!

I'm here right now, but not for long. I know that you can do the translating. I know that I can help you, once you have done the translating, to make your ads worded better in English.

My suggestion would be to start another thread in Business Plans titled, How Can I Word My Ads to Get the Most Exposure When People Search for Things on the Internet. Or maybe, How To Word Ads the Internet to Get the Most Exposure.

Now, the first title might be a little too long for the space that is available here. But, if you start something like that I will be able to change the title so that it's most effective for this site.

If you would like to post some ideas for the new question on a new thread right on this one, we can discuss things here, and I would really like to do that. But, it is very late for me and I do have some obligations that I need to meet... today!

I'm not saying that I can't continue for at least a little while, but that I can't continue for all that long.

If you're talking about the television show "Friends", then I don't know, because I don't watch television in my home. I'm usually busy practicing music or doing other things, like helping people on this site.

Looking forward to your reply here!

    Thanks!
