Is it one sink or two, any way try to use a plunger, if it is a single sink fill the sink half way and use a plunger, if two sinks fill any sink and plug the sink drain fill the sink half way and use the plunger, if no help remove the trap, check for any blockage remove clean install and check, if not blockage you would need to use a snake to clean the horizontal pipe, see the image below, good luck.

If you decide to snake the line in the wall, (that's where we find most clogs) you will run into a bend about 8 inches in but once around that you only have to put out 6 more feet of cable. Flush with a sink full of hot water. Good luck, Tom

Hopefully this is one of those questions with an obvious answer... I have a two-side kitchen sink with a disposal on one side. The sink began to get backed up once in a while, then the other day as I was running the disposal, all the water and gunk and food backed up into the other side of the...

Slow kitchen sink drain [ 11 Answers ]

Hello -- I've been battling a slow kitchen sink drain for some time now. After watching someone successfully unclog a sink drain with a hose and a blast of hot water, I tried it a few times to no avail. Every time I think I fix the drain, I close the pipes up and it's slow again. I read...

My kitchen sink is a twin sink with one p-trap. I removed the dishwasher and replaced the one piece of drain that connects it to the sink. Ever since the drain has been very very slow(about 45 minutes to an hour to drain). I tried a snake in the sink with no luck. Should I try to snake the clean...
