    Frigidaire dryer
We just purchased a used frigidaire dryer from a church. Model # fdeb34rgs1

We plugged it in and ran it without any clothes in it. Noticed a glowing red coil through the back screen. Is this normal for a frigidaire?

If this is electric what you are seeing is the heating element. Does everything work properly?

As far as I know. It turns on, the drum rotates and it heats up. I am not wanting to let it run too long in case this is something that needs to be replaced.

I believe then everything is normal and all you are seeing is the element which is normal. Good Luck
