    Scanner not working
    Hi I have a dimetion dell 9100 and I installed a epson scanner and when I go to use it its all loaded in OK evrthing is there but if I scan something a window opens up unable to acess the scanner because its not ready or another applicationis using it please make sure that the scanner is connected to your computor or colse all scanner application. So what is that mean I tried everything can you help me with this .

    Unplug the scanner from the PC.
    Remove the software that came with it (uninstall)

    Reboot.
    Go to epson's website and downlod the software/drivers from there. Re-install.

    Then try again.

    Left out an important step
    *Only plug the scanner in when you are told to. NEVER before you run the driver setup

    Correct ;) I guess I just assumed they would follow the directions :)
