    When can I take my bellybar out?
    I got my belly pierce a month ago yesterday but when can I take it out?
    I asked the guy who did it but he kept saying its best you don't take it out and I know that but I want to.
    I just want know when its safe to take it out? When should it be healed up by?

    Its still a wee bit pinky around the top but it doesn't hurt at all.

    Thanks =]

    I don't get it. You went through all of that expense and a little pain and you don't want the piercing any more ? What do you want to do with it ?

    No, I mean to change it. When is it not dangerous to take the original one out because they're easily infected.

    Only take it out when it is COMPLETELY HEALED. No soreness, no redness no weeping. And you can move it freely without feeling the pull, which is the dried puss inside.

    The time varies. We don't all heal the same, so it could be between 2 months-1 year. You'll know when its fully healed, because it will be second nature for your body to have it there when it is.

    To simply change the jewelry, you can do it after 6 weeks. If you want to keep it out for long periods of time for any reason, you need to let it heal completely, which takes 1 full year. :)
