    Carrier air
My carrier air conditioner goes off after about 5 minutes. The cool on indicator keeps blinking and then the screen goes blank. I wail about a half hour and the unit comes back on but does the above all over again. Any Ideas?

To me, this suggests a problem with the low-voltage wires to the outside unit. e.g. dog chewed tstat wires outside.

Suggest disconnecting those wires at the furnace and go from there.

Presume outdoor unit is not ABCD bus.
