Can a MP3 player be defragged?
I have a Delstar 2 GB Audio/Video MP3 player. I have noticed that songs are starting to disappear, or worse, songs that I have had on there since when I first got it, are now stating "formatting error!", and then reset the machine. I am thinkiing maybe with all the changing of songs, I might have cross-linked files. Problem is, I have Vista, which apparently will only defrag the main hard drive. If I am right, is there defragging software out there for external drives? If wrong, what should I do?

    Thanks in advance.
