    BUDGIES... Albino or Lutino...
 Hello I breed budgies. And last year my budgies had an albino chick. But then I was doing some research because even though the baby was albino with RED EYES. It has yellow feathers... So then I was told that this was a lutino budgies. So my question is is my budgie an albino or lutino.. OR lutino albino... I'm a little confused... They are breeding again this year and one of the chick again is an albino but I don't know what the color of the feathers are going to be yet... The chick is less than a week old...

I know this may have come a bitlate

However I am writing this now so that you know the difference..
I would say that your budgie sounds like a cremino... as you say it has yellow and not a green shading.. please have a look at the info and the picture links and let me know
Also it would be good if you could post a picture of your bird for me to look at then maybe could help you even more if you had the pic stored on your computer?

An albino is pure white with red eyes.. you can get them with black eyes these are called black eyed clears or dark eyed clears not albino...
A lutino is yellow and has red eyes,. you can get black eyed yellows..

This pic is of a lutino budgie http://eterri.com/lutino.JPG
They in most cases also have white fliight feathers (the longest wing (note the white cheek patches where they would usually be black and blue... this is the inability to prodcue any coloring pigments ) lutino birds originally derived from green budgies and it became diluted by missing a part in its genes and because it couldn't produce the rest of the colors it became yellow instead of green, however now they can be produced from blues and other color budgies..
You can also get a dark eyed clear in this color it will be all yellow completely solid yellow with no other colors in it but have black eyes instead of red :)

http://www.budgerigars.co.uk/images/albino.jpg this is a albino budgie

Also there is a cremino budgie this is formally known as the yellow faced albino..
As you can imagine it has a yellow face, red eyes and white body.. http://eterri.com/yfa.jpg picture of one, occasionally the yellow will leak into the body color also which can cause the bird to have a very pale shade of yellow on its chest area. But the yellow will only be very very pale

Google Image Result for http://eterri.com/yfa.jpg found this site on Google while looking for the pictures and this basically rounds up the colors in question quite nicely...
