Here's a good list of freebies:
    http://www.freewebsiteproviders.com/...s-webhosts.php
... at the top of the page, you can click on categories to narrow the list down some.

You'll find them all easy: they're designed to be pretty much point and click, as far as getting your content and pics to the site go.

If you decide to go on your own, you can get an older version of FrontPage for about $50 to make the site yourself. From there you just need a domain name and a host (total cost: $60-$100 per year).

    Thanks for your response.
Actually I was going with hosting companies like Yahoo, ix webhosting etc. If you know any hosting company that has a good website builder, please let me know.
    Thanks

I use Lunarpages and they have an easy to use WebBuilder with some nice features. I don't use it myself, but I do know lots of people use it and like it.

With the domain name and WebBuilder, they're about $100 per year.

Google have made their own web editor. You could give that a try: http://pages.google.com/

If you want a solid website builder and have a stupid amount of cash stashed under your mattress - get DreamWeaver. It's the best there is. Frontpage is also good but I'm not sure how standards compiant the code it will produce is.

    Some other web page editors:
    Coffee Cup HTML
    HTML-Kit
    Nvu

FrontPages compliance gets better with each version.

If you're doing a site that's not for profit, you can get Dreamweaver Academic version for about $150.

User objectives [ 1 Answers ]

Let's say I just took a huge loan from a bank, and I determined they were my most important user. When making my financial statements, I choose to maximize income (within the limits of GAAP). Why would this serve to be useful if I show these statements to the bank?
