    Workers comp doctor don't relive my pain
    Herniated 2 cervical vertebra at work they give me things that don't stop pain. It was so bad I went myself to pain management dr he tried to get approval to give me injection. Insurance co shot him down said I have neurologist. Called him for my pain said no I have to wait for neurosurgeon apt in 2 weeks. Help I am worried and hurting

    Unless you want to pay for the other treatment yourself you really have no choice if WC rejected the treatment at a pain management dr. The other reason could be that they don't want you to "mask" your symptoms prior to seeing the neurosurgeon to get a proper diagnosis. If the neuro deems it proper when you ask him about this he may refer you to the same pain mgt dr and then it would be approved.
