Attaching sound (song) to a email in Outlook 2007
I have Outlook 2007, with Offic pro +. How do I attach a song to an email, and have it play when the email is opened by the person receiving it? I don't want to send as an attachment that needs to be doubled clicked (opened). I need it to automatically start when the email is opened...

    Thanks, dalecaudio

If I received an e-mail that automatically played a sound when I opened it, I would immediately close it and get PO'ed at the sender.

Just include a link so the recipient can choose when or if they want to hear the sound.

I agree with Scott. People REALLY should get the option to decide what they want to see/hear for themselves.

Having said that, you can most easily play a sound in an email if the email is sent in HTML format and the sound is embedded. Just like the graphics in an HTML email have to be on the internet somewhere so they will show in the email (like a web page), the sound file would need to be out there, too.

This is how I would approach the problem.
