At first I thought this was a question about why you, being an engineering major, would take management and economics classes and you had to pick your classes by July 2. As in "will I need management or economics as an engineer?" But seeing that you put the word THE as in THE five reasons, maybe not. If it IS homework. Look in a text book. That's probably where the answer comes from.
