    Packard Bell Diamond 1200 Plus
    Hi. I've recently bought a new laptop which has Windows Vista 32 OS. I have tried to install the software to run my Packard Bell Diamond 1200 plus scanner but the disc is only for XP. I have run a system check on the driver and the scanner operates but I need the software to run it. Can you help. Cheers,:(

    You're probably out of luck if Packard Bell has not provided updated software for Vista. Have you contacted them? Otherwise, if the CD installer is refusing to run due to an OS check, you might be able to fool it by setting up a shortcut to it and modifying the application compatibility settings. However, getting it to run doesn't mean the software it installs will necessarily work properly with Vista. I see a new scanner in your future...
