    How much would this cost?
I live in Canada so the price might be different, but an estimate would be cool. The drain pipe underneath my plastic shower stall in downstairs bathroom is leaking. The only way to seal it is to basically remove the shower out, seal the pipe and then put the shower back in. How much would a plumber typically charge?

Unless your downstairs bath is on a slab and not over a basement I don't understand why the shower would have to be torn out, repaired and reinstalled. Is there a reason you can't go in from the bottom? No one can give you a estimate with the details you describe. There are just too many variables. Cheers, Tom
