    See this website: http://www.chaffey.com/hffo9907/0799_b.htm

Normaly it starts when you are 59.5

Once you hit 70.5, you must withdraw a minimum amount depending on your life expectancy. You must begin receiving these payments by April 1 of the calendar year following the year you turn 70½.

    Hi,
If you have a 401k Plan, call your Plan Administrator for the youngest you can withdraw without penalty. It can vary from plan to plan, but as said, normally is 59 1/2.

Thank you for your input, but what I was looking for is "the oldest, not the youngest. But thanks anyway. gaudin2
