So... this is kind of an extension of my last post "So Confused..." I went on a student trip for the past 10 days, and I went with a very close friend that is a girl (that happens to be a friend of the girl from my last post). On day 2 we ended up hooking up when we were semi-drunk, but it was in my room so nobody knew. After that, nothing changed; we still hung out all the time on the trip. On about day 6 I found out that everyone on the trip assumed we were dating by the way we were acting (holding hands, cuddling, etc). We both assured them that we are BEST friends, but nobody believed us. When I left to go home, she stayed and the goodbye was tough for both of us. This is the longest time we have spent apart since we have known each other. Since I've been back I've been pondering our position as "just friends." Everyone back home has been telling me that we make a perfect couple, including her close friends. The information that we hooked up made it back to the US before I did which means she told her friends... I'm really confused on what to do because I still have feelings for her friend (but not close to as much as I have for her). Should I take her friends' advice and risk losing my best girl friend, or should I play it safe and keep everything as it is?

Why do I always hook up with friends?:D

You hook up with friends because sex is still a sport to you.

You hook up with other girls because you haven't figured out how to ignore feelings you have for them, you act on them regardless of the consequences.

At least you're starting to worry about it. At some point you'll mature to the point where your feelings for a girl won't control your moments. Then, and ONLY then, will you be able to attempt a serious long-term exclusive relationship.

Based on your habits right now, I would suggest you honor your ways and not set yourself up to hurt girls by using "exclusive" titles and talk when it's not what you're good at, or even able to honor. Someday.

In the meantime, why not date anyone you want? No law against that.

I forgot to add something... We can hardly go a day without talking to each other, and every time we hear the song "bleeding love" on the radio we have to call each other. Are we just friends?
