    Best rapper?
    Who do you think is a good rapper? Maybe the best rapper in the world? Up coming artists? But no offense... do not say 50 cent. He was good... before...

    Me personally, I like Nappy Roots, especially their song "My Old Kentucky Home". I got to see them for $10 at a concert at EKU in Richmond, KY. On my way back to my dorm, they invited me to hang out with them in Lexington. I also like that song "Hedz Up".

    There's a rapper called Sway who is getting big in Britain. His debut album is called "this is my demo". Worth a listen.

    I personally think that Jay-Z is the best rap artist to date. However, since he is retired and not "up and coming", I would have to say that Kanye West (who has produced some of Jay-Z's work) is awesome! I am also a big fan of the Roots who have been around for at least ten years now, and the Beatnuts. :D

    As far as "up and coming" go, u got to go with lupe fiasco. Man drops gems on his mixtapes.

    As far as out right now, nas, kweli, MF DOOM, eminem, kanye
