Many individuals who become porn addicts destroy their own natural sexuality! They can't perform without ritualized fake fantasy scenarios acted out by professional whores. Sad.

    Sources, please.

    Oh god.

Another post about the "evils" of porn.

I'm going to start one about the evils of religion, with sources about the percentage of violent crimes worldwide are linked to religion.

If so many religions didn't have a problem with sexuality, why would people need to resort to porn in the first place? Porn is generally a release that you can't get from your partner, if you even HAVE a partner to begin with.

Sounds more like a parenting problem and a self-control problem to me, than a worldwide sexuality problem.

And frankly--I LIKE what the internet has done with empowering women with their own sexuality. Women who are brought up to think that anything but the missionary position, in the dark, with the covers pulled up, for procreation are finding out that it's NORMAL to want to have an orgasm, and that it's possible to have one, and that they're NOT being selfish to want their partner to help them achieve one---even if that means something "kinky" like woman on top or masturbation with a vibrator.

The OTHER side of this is that the internet and porn on the internet have increased at the SAME TIME as the family unit is changing. How can you REALLY point to porn as the problem without acknowledging that there are fewer and fewer "live" examples of good relationships for teens to turn to? People are divorcing for selfish reasons, people never marry to begin with and have kids with multiple partners--where is the example of making a good relationship work to begin with? Where are the examples that good communication (inside or outside of the bedroom) are what make a relationship, not just lust and sex and moving on when you're not "happy" anymore?

THAT is a bigger problem than a bunch of people looking at naked people on the internet.

Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if it's just a bunch of prudes who have never had an issue achieving orgasm themselves that want to ban porn.

Thanks for reporting your statistics.. It's really good to know that I'm not alone. I was beginning to think I was weird or somethin...

I love this answer. I am a female and my boyfriend and I both enjoy porn, sometimes alone, sometimes together. Neither one of us are addicts but it is nice for the fact that it is hard if not impossible between our busy schedules to always fit each other in for a good romp in the bedroom.

Masturbation is easy, no foreplay, I know I want it, no strings, quick easy, less clean up. You can not convince it's a world problem. It's a problem for those who use them improperly.
