    oldish song. Singer and song?
    I don't know much of the lyrics, but the chorus, I believe goes;;

    and it's allllllllllllllllll right.
    dun dund udnfiuandfadf.
    and it's alllllllllllll right.
    [[ we can do something about streets ]]
    and it's alllllllllll right.

    he might also say, well baby it's alllllll right.
    or something.
    the allllllllllllll means that it is a long note... half note or three beats.
    you can barely hear the AND part. Maybe less than a beat...
    ?

    I don't know any more of the lyrics.
    I just know that I used to listen to it as a kid, so it's oldish.

    thanks.

    I heard it in my head immediately after reading your post, but took a little research to find it. Thanks for reminding me of this group! Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, and George Harrison! Wow. I am racking my brain again now, trying to figure out the song by them that me and my brothers used to really like by them... I think it was "Won't Back Down", which I have most recently thought was just a Tom Petty song.
