    Does anybody know where the tradition of waiting until a boy is 1 before giving him his first haircut comes from?

    Thanks! This site also had some interesting links about the subject. I'm just curious because my son will be 1 in a few weeks and I was trying to decide what I'm going to do about that first haircut.
