What nasties lurk in your PC?
Just being curious. We seem to talk about how to "clean" our PC's from various internet nasties, but what about "home grown one's"

    Biscuits,cake,tea,coffee,finger nails,mice droppings... yuk.

What have others had to "squirm about?

Of course if you use "Windows" you should be usind windex it says right on the bottle it cleans windows better than anything

I had one system that I decided to use a "blessed" hammar on, did not work afterwards but I sure felt a lot better.

** and of course since the direction of this thread went to fun I thought I may as well also.

I believe I might have some keys somewhere in my coffee-and-other-muck-board.

    Hi,
My computer loves dust balls. Removing the case and using compressed air, with cotton swabs is a way of life here.
The keypad has all sorts of coffee stains, cookie crumbs. Got a keyboard cleaner last year, with small brushes. It's a battery run vacuum, works very well. Compressed air works good, too.
I think I might use Fr_Chucks idea and give the keyboard a bath. Might like sweet smelling bath oil, let it soak for a couple of hours!

My biggest problem is wearing out the letters on the keys and having to remember where they are.

Well this is gross, but I don't even bother to clean mine... like Scott, mine wears out pretty fast, and then I just go buy a new one... keyboard, that is... not computer!
