I am not good with proposals but find the average that people charge and underbid them by a little. Also what I do when I do clean outs is take anything that is good and sell it at flea markets, give to friends, donate to thrift stores and take metal to the scrap yard (unless it is in the contract that you have to throw it all away at the curb.

I do like the answer above. But, just wanted to add that do you already have business cards, and a letter or something that already describes the services that you can perform for people?

If you Google "business proposal," you will get several good sites that offer suggestions on how to write one. Here is one from my own search:

The Winning Elements of Business Proposals

Also, your public library has books on this subject and may even include a proposal template in print or on an accompanying CD.
