    Recover data from Hard Drive
Hi, I am wondering if there is an easy, simple(yes, very simple), step
By step way to recover data info from my computer hard drive??
I am not a computer geek, as in, not extremely knowledgeable as
Far as computers go, so it would have to be very 1,2,3 or A,B,C
    As far as steps.
    Thanks for the help,

    Carol

You have to be more specific. Does this hard drive work?

Additional info is required. What has happened to the drive that necessitates "recovery"?

Yes, hard drive is in good working order(we use the computer
    Every day)

For the other question, I have a personal stake in seeing what's on
The hard drive, if anything at all.
Plus, this seems like something that could be done by normal lay folk,
And could teach me to troubleshoot my own computer problems instead
Of taking them into a professional

I still don't understand the problem. Assuming you're running Windows, if the drive is in the computer, and you are using the computer, all that is required to "see" the drive is to open My Computer and double-click the drive's letter.
