My Honda engined Yardman lawnmower runs way too fast.
I had my Yardman lawnmower worked on about 3 months ago. Due to poor weather, I only used it twice right after having it fixed because it wouldn't run. I haven't used it in about 2-3 months, but I fired it up today and the Honda engine races compared to months ago. What can I do to fix it? Thanks!

Does your engine even have a throttle on it?

No, it doesn't have any throttle control.

Check to see if you have a screw or something hung in the carb linkages, also check for broken or missing springs.

First off, let me thank those who replied. I will take a look tomorrow to see if anything is hanging up the linkage. Thanks, John

If this mower is running way faster than you ever heard before take it back to the guy who fixed it and ask him to inspect the governor.

I have a Honda Riding Lawnmower 8313. The belt on the mower deck keeps breaking and wearing out. Is the $60 belt sold by Honda that much better than a regular automotive belt. Thanks for any comments :)
