    Pontiac grand am 2001 4 cy not starting
    This has been an intermittant problem engine goes dead then cranks up this time drove home parked overnite will turn over but will not run need help badly

    Were you having a problem actually getting the vehicle started or was it just stalling out while you were driving?

    It has happened several times the engine will not run the starter will turn the engine over will not start I can spray starter fluid in intahe it will run till the fluid is gone

    You probably need a fuel pump. It sounds like there's no fuel getting to the motor, which is why the starting fluid helps it run until it burns off.
