    Car alarm keeps going off
I guess the guy I got the car from hooked up his alarm to the battery. The battery is dead I guess but now the alarm won't stop going off. I've tried everything with the remote but no hope. Is it the battery??

Take the car to someone and have this electrical problem figured out and properly diagnosed and fixed as soon as possible. You can't keep having a dead battery due to a faulty alarm system. And no, it is not the battery. It is the wiring causing this.

The alarm will take months to drain a battery. The alarm will sound off when you charge it or jump it cause it is resetting the system. Look for a small black button the size of pencil eraser under driver side dash. Turn key on and then press this button then it should stop alarm.
