I love a married man who has not lived with his wife for at least 10 years as she left him to live with her lover all that time ago. We have lived together for the last year and a half . He tells me it's just a piece of paper and that they just never got around to divorce. I don't want to marry him , as I've been there before. I just don't want to be a married man's girlfriend anymore. Why can't he deal with this ?

Tell him to file for divorce his wife is not with him, he is not will her. I don't see where the issue is. And why do you want to be married to this man?

She said she doesn't want to marry him. I can see were she's coming from,would you be happy as amarried woman's boyfriend I don't think you would. Plus he's not bin with his wife for 10years he should get adivorce unless he's trying to hang on to that part off his life even though its gone. Explain to him that you don't want to get married but you want him to get adevorce so that part of his life is over and you 2 can get on with things explain to him that it bothers you,tell him its more than just apeice of paper to you, he got married because he loved her and thort he would spend the rest of his life with her,its been over 10years its time to get devorced,tell him how you feel other wise it'll eat away at you

This is why people have the rule never to be with anyone married no matter how long they have been separated, there is no reason why this dude isn't divorced...

If he hasn't done it in 10 years he's not going to do it now for you. Accept it and move on or don't accept it and leave.
