How long would it take you? What do you have to do? What do other companies in the area charge for similar work?

This is very subjective, so only you can set a price.

Where are you located and how many rooms and what are the approximate size of the rooms, please? It could be that this clubhouse might also have a banquet room which might also be quite large. And, as asked above,

I would also add that would you have to do any floor and/or carpet maintenance other than the usually mopping of hard floor surfaces? I can give you approximate prices for just basic cleaning around where I live. However, that might not help you because I don't know where you are located and the average prices there might be a lot different from where I am. So, knowing where you are located would be a big plus in our being able to help you the best here.

    Hello d:

When I was in business, I was the best there was. I charged more than anybody else. I delivered more than anybody else. And, I made more money than anybody else.

What did you do for a business, excon? It would help the original poster to know that because of the nature of the question. Thanks!

    Hello again:

I've been in a wide array of business's, ALL of which have been in the service industry - the same industry as the cleaning business. Because it's the service industry, service matters in a way that prices don't. It's certainly true that most people will accept average service. There is still, however, a wide market for those who want above average service and are willing to pay for it. That's who I catered to. It's a much smaller group, and easier to market to.

From MY perspective, if I owned a building, I'd hire the guy that told me he'd clean it BETTER than anybody else, over the guy who told me he'd CHARGE the SAME as anybody else.

I will agree with excon, you charge what you charge, you estimate how much time it will take, what materials you will need and then you sell your service.

If you are trying to get a contract because you are the cheapest, you will never keep those accounts, since someone else will always be cheaper at some point.

I sell many things over the years, currently I sell commercial steam cleaners and waste water recycle systems besides the insurance our family sells. It is like cars, some dealers sell Lincolns and other Up scale cars, why, because people buy them, can you buy a car with 4 wheels and a motor for 1/2 as much, yes, but they are buying services or extras.
