    Good morning Liz,

There probably is something you could do but why should you? You paid a plumber to change out a cartridge and now you have a problem. This should be covered by warranty. Call the plumber back.
However you asked if there was something you could fix yourself. What has probably happened is that in installing the new cartridge he disturbed some mineral built up on the hot water supply pipes walls and it found it's way into the hot water inlet ports of the new cartridge and is now blocking the flow.
The only way to repair this is to shut the water off to the valve and open it up, remove the cartridge and clean the trash out of the hot water inlet ports.
The next step, and this is very important, is to turn the hot water back on while the valve's still open and flush out any remaining crud that may still be lurking in the supply pipe. Let me know how you make out. Tom

I called the plumber to come back out to fix the shower. It is covered by warrantly so it will not cost me. Thanks again for you help. :)
