I start thinking about how it all could be worse. How it has been worse. Then count my blessings. Even when I think I don't have a blessing, I can find one or two or more.

Listing the things I am grateful for really puts life into perspective, so does helping someone else. Sometimes, I need to hide, but then there are endless opportunities to practice random acts of kindness, in secret.

For one thing, I like to call a relative or friend whom I know will give me some proactive advice about the way that I am feeling. Also, another thing that I find helps, is to go to bed and get a good sleep. Oftentimes, when I am feeling most down, it is because I have not had enough sleep and am not thinking about things as clearly as I can.

If I feel down I put my crying song on and ball my eyes out always feel loads better after a good sob lol

Seriously though, I just close my eyes and think of my girlfriend, my home and my friends! Never fails to cheers me up!
