    Common stk $10 par, 1000000 shares authorized 2,500000
    Excess of par on Common stk 500000
    Retain Earnings 700000


    If a 5% stock dividend was declared, how many additional shares would be distributed to the stockholders?

    A stock dividend is a portion of the shares already outstanding.
