Curious, how does one capatalize the first letter of each word. That must take a considerable amount of time.

i've also wondered that too. Leaving capslock on doesn't seem to do it so the typer must be doing it manually. Why?

Report
Merely take a copy of the police report you got from the police and filed with your insurance company to prove you made the report.
Autos when they are stolen are recorded in the national data base (NCIC), if a report was done, it should have been put into the computer system.
Check with A Auto place on how they got the truck, where did it come from
Of course, even if the truck was reported stolen, you will have to pay any towing fees and/or storage fees of a vechile that is incured in recover of the vechile. This is normally only a few hundred dollars.
Also check to see if a misc report was made instead of a stolen vechile report. Also talk to the person you talked to on those 12 times, I will assuem you keep their names and date of calls. They should remember you. And you can check with the phone company to see if they can get you a record of your phone calls to prove you at least called them.
Getting an attorney may be needed if you don't have a lot of luck
