Yahoo messenger and Vista
Hi,
I have a question... I have a new computer with the new Vista Home Basic version and am having trouble downloading the Yahoo messenger, is anyone else having the same problem? It tells me to close all open windows, restart computer and try again, but every time I do, it does the same thing. Also I cannot close all the windows cause I have to leave the downloading one open. Any suggestions? |

I am going to go out on a limb here, cause I have no computer experience what so ever. I just got a new laptop, and I downloaded Yahoo messenger too. It told me no way the first time and the second. So I decided to go into add/remove programs and it was there, but just didn't work properly, so I uninstalled, restarted my puter and tried it again! It worked! I wish you luck! Hugs... :)

Just wanted to let you all know that I finally found a solution to my problem with yahoo messenger. I went to Windowshelp and got the following information. Of course, what worked for me as to download the download manager. I had no problems from there on. Below is the information that I received.
