How can I set up vonage to enable me to operate more than one phone within my home. Should I disconnect both the green and red lines on the telephone box attached to my home by the telephone company.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

By more than one phone do you mean extensions or multiple numbers? If you mean extensions, then you have to wire from the Vonage modem into your wiring. If you are no longer using the landline, you can disconnect from the Telcom Junction box and wire from the Vonage box instead.

I would recommend getting one of the new cordless phone systems. I have one with 3 other handsets. The base station is in my computer area and the extensions are in the kitchen and 2 bedrooms. This allows me to use the handsets as intercoms as well.

Is anyone using Vonage or similar services where you can use your regular telephones to call other regular telephones via your cable modem? I heard an advertisement and I am wondering what people who are really using it think.
