    A cartoon from the 80's
    I remember this cartoon of a bird (it thought it was the last of it's kind) then it finds a female, they are happy then the female gets shot by a hunter.
    Anyone remember this one?

    Was it a Dodo bird? I'm taking it this wasn't a series?

    Do you recall what network it was on, anything else?

    No it wasn't a series, it was a one time show.
    It was a small brown bird, it finally finds a mate, they are happy then the hunter kills her.
    This was in the very early 80's
