Hi Guys

Just want to know if you guys believe in UFO's and Aliens? What do you guys think about it? Have you guys had any experiences or seen an Alien or UFO?
I'm finding a lot of interesting stuff on the net but don't know what to make of it...

I don't know if aliens exist or not. Have not had any encounters with any. But, I know that there are some stories about them that would be hard to explain away as not being true.

I'm sure that others will also come along to offer what they think about this subject.

Sure there are aliens. But, I don't think they're flying around in our sky and being sneaky. IF they were visiting us, we'd KNOW it.

Yeah, I would think there were aliens. I mean, to think we are the only lifeforms alive in the entire solar system would be kind of nuts. Just my opinion.

Hopefully they are smarter than we are and have found better means to manage resources and have transcended violence towards each other.

Here's an encounter.. alien since no one knew what it was and why in the world would it be landing there.

In the summer of 1997 my husband, daughter 4 years old and my 20 year old niece were on my front porch. We lived at the bottom of a hill. Up on the hill is a church, a teen hall, center for the nuns etc... takes up 1 block... we had a small view of the property and the nuns retreat. Below that was the school the old one on the right and a newly built one on the left... we lived closer to the play ground... this took up more than 1/2 of the block on the other side was a small apartment complex.
On this night we were on the front porch and we heard a deafening noise from up the hill in the direction of the church up over the school came a large object with bright lights that was so bright you had to cover your eyes. It was so loud and bright that my daughhter myself and my niece ran into the house crying it was actually painful. My husband stayed out. When the noise went away we went back out.. He said all it did was hover over the playground for a few minutes and then lifted off. I called the police station... of course no reports... I was nuts

Five years later I am watching local cable and a documentary comes on about ghosts and UFO's... they want people to call in that have had citings. In particular they are interested in a similar incident that happened at this same location in the 1950's . Every year this church/school has a fair to help raise funds... it is still being held today. It was during an election year as a candidate was there, also there were some military personel from Wright Pat Airforce base. These attendees had a large bright loud object hover over the grounds and no one could ever explain it. Like our sighting it hoovered for a few minutes and took off.
I called the number and the lady asked my husband about memory loss, unexplained cuts etc... of which he never experienced any.
Now getting back to our police department that thought I was nuts because I called and asked about other call's regarding this. They got plenty of calls, my friend has a police scanner and her mother has one... a few of the calls were reported as an helicopter crashing. So yes they got reports... but like to keep the citizens in the dark. Go figure.

A few years later my husband went to help his friend on a remodel that he was in over his head. The home owner worked for Wright Pat Airforce based in Dayton Ohio. We did not know the exact day but we new the month that it happened in. According to him there were 1000's of reports of the same thing that we saw.

Btw the person from the documentary that I spoke with said that when people say they have seen ghost that they have actually seen an alien that is just curious as to how that person lives.
She wanted to know if I had ghost... she wanted to being her equipment to my house to set up and see what she could detect on it... thank goodness I don't have any here... at least none that I have seen.

Shaung I believe in other life forms aliens, spirts, ghost etc... But I'd rather leave the unknown alone, kind of like a man cheating on their wife... she knows but doesn't want to confront it.

bushg, you mentioned something about unexplained cuts and it got me to thinking about a story my grandfather used to tell...

My grandfather used to be such a huge bull$hitter lol. One time he told this story about how he was sitting out on the picnic table at night cause he could never sleep... and he said he woke up a few hours later at like 3 am and he said he had a strange dream that aliens were working on him. And they spoke almost musically. Seeing as if he was a huge storyteller to begin with, everyone laughed it off. My mom was like the only one who believed it because she's big into that stuff. But anyway, he had a cut in the shape of a V on his upper arm. Never knew how it go there, and the scar was always red and never faded.

Mafiaangel.. It's been a few years since this happened and I don't have such a great memory... it kind of comes and goes... but I don't remember if she mentioned the shape of cuts. I will ask hubby when he comes home.
Her basic description is that of your story.. a particular incident with an absence of memory and sometimes cuts on the body.
I have memory problems... but this happened after being put to sleep by doctors.
Lol, I know what you mean about bull$hitters my hubby is one. But he normally fesses up.

I have once spent a day looking at videos of Aliens on YouTube, I have heard stories from friends and relatives ( I won't go in to detail ) but my opinion is that we are not alone..

Personally I think that there are aliens. Mostly because our planet has been around for roughly 5 billion years as well as an ever-expanding universe. The chances are to high for their not to be aliens or some form of sentient life elsewhere in the universe.
Plus if aliens do come to earth the egyptians are a great example because even with all of our technology even we don't have the technology to lift 20-200 ton blocks of marble or clay, etc... also for all we know seeing as we're killing our planet we, as a planet, could be on an endangered species list or something of the sort. But that's just what I think as for experiences I'm clueless.

Years ago in Ft. Lauderdale my son and I were in my car in the evening around 8:30PM. We could clearly see this huge formation in the sky over the City of Plantation, Fla. It had different colored lights and was in a huge V shape. The next day on TV we saw what was referred to as the Phoenix Lights. It was the same formation of lights in the sky. I think this was around 1996.

Another time in Ft. Lauderdale I awoke at 2AM to the distinct sound of a "flying saucer" like the kind of noise you hear in the SF movies. It was directly over my house and stayed there for about 3 minutes. It was quite loud and I knew immediately what it was. The next day the TV reported unidentified flying objects over Ft. Lauderdale. This was in 1979.

Yes, I do believe that ET's are here among us on earth. I've had a few instances where I came face to face with several who had their "human" visage on. That's another story.

There is a famous scientist in Russia who gives lectures on this subject and he has some weird looking and weird acting people always in attendance at his lectures. Regardless of how far away or how hard to gain entrance, these weird people are there. They don't act like normal humans either. They sit through his 2 hour lectures without moving - only blinking of the eyes. No human gestures like scratching of nose, or even crossing of the legs. Just try sitting perfectly still for 2 hours and see how long you can do it! They also dress in clothing styles of the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's as a rule also. It's like they don't know exactly what clothing styles mean and just guess.

So what do you think was powering the huge UFO's sighted over Texas recently? Aliens, of course! If you figure that the eyewitnesses said the craft seemed to be at least a mile long - and I have read reports that indicate that what we see here on Earth is only a fraction of just how large the UFO really is - just how large WAS that craft anyway? Three miles long? Most likely 3 miles long. Can you imagine just how many ET's were inside it? Probably thousands. This sounded very much like a mother ship coming too close to the earth's surface.

Most scientists who deal with this stuff agree that because the universe is so vast and the number of objects in it is pretty much incomprehensible, there is virtually no chance that we could be alone in the universe.

One reason people don't feel that aliens are present today at our planet is that there are incredible distances to be covered to get here from other stars and galaxies and that it would take an incredbile amount of time, perhaps billions of years, for even light to get here from some of these places.

The problem with this thinking is that our knowledge of the workings of the universe is infantile compared to the knowledge yet to be obtained. A civilization out there with 40 or 50 thousand years of a technology advantage over us might be able to get anywhere in the universe they wanted in an instant. And they could very likely send probes or other craft here without being detected if they chose. We are just beginning to get a handle on stealth technology.

You probably can't read all of the writing on my avatar, but it is my Operations Control Center ID badge from the Apollo XI mission. During that mission, Buzz Aldrin called Mission Control and asked, "Do you have any idea where the S-IVB is with respect to us?"

Doesn't sound like an important message, does it? Buzz Aldrin was observing an object travelling along with him that he thought might be an expended stage of the launch rocket. Mission Control advised him as to where the S-IVB was and Aldrin concluded that he was looking at something else.

I don't want to make this post too long, but before I worked for NASA I was in the Air Force at an installation that had nuclear missile sites dispersed over the North Dakota countryside. My duties involved patrolling the site areas, responding to alarms and convoy escort.

My experiences in the missile fields of North Dakota and with NASA have led me to reach at least two conclusions: The government is not telling you everything it knows about alien life, its probes or other manifestations relative to this planet and that there have been incidents that would lead a resonable person to believe that such things have occurred.

Recently Buzz Aldrin is denying he ever made any claims that he saw extra terrestrial but his statements have been all over coasttocoast and other places.

I recently viewed one of the interviews he gave on this subject. To quote him, "There was something out there that was close enough to be observed and what could it be?" The interview lasted for several minutes and he made several statements of this type. And he is not the only astronaut to have had such encounters.
